Local government elections will be held in October this year for all local governments in Western Australia. In Collie there will be five vacancies due to the expiry of the term of five current Councillors. The election will be conducted by the Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) as a postal election. Your vote matters so now is the time to check that you are correctly enrolled. You may also consider nominating as a candidate for election to the Shire of Collie Council when nominations open in September.

Roll close Friday, 27 August 2021
Nominations Open Thursday, 2 September 2021
Nominations Close 4pm Thursday, 9 September 2021
Election Day Saturday, 16 October 2021
To be eligible to vote you must be a resident enrolled on the State electoral roll, or be on the Owners and Occupiers roll.
To be eligible as an Owner and/or Occupier you must be a person who:
- owns or occupies rateable property within the electorate; and
- has provided information to evidence eligibility.
