Membership
Membership is free to all WA residents, and you can join online or by visiting the library. All you need is your current ID!
Collie Public Library is part of the South West One Library Consortia. The One Library network is the first of its kind in Western Australia, connecting and combining the resources of 25 Libraries across the South West region. If you’ve always wanted a wider choice of resources from your local library, you’ll find lots to love about the One Library network. You can use your current Library card to borrow and return items at any of the participating Libraries.

We value the comfort and safety of all Library visitors and staff. In light of this, Council adopted the Collie Public Library Patron Code of Conduct in August of 2020.
Events & Programs
Collie Public hosts a variety events throughout the year, with something for everyone, no matter your age or interest! Recent events have included Lazer Tag, Mario Kart Championships, Themed Quiz Nights, Tea Blending Workshops, Wills Seminars and Gardening workshops.
Sing-Along Story Time
Mondays 9am during school term.
A great way to develop your pre-schooler’s early literacy and meet other parents! Enjoy a story and a sing-a-long with Mrs Potts.
LEGO Club
Mondays 3.30pm – 4.30pm during school term.
In partnership with the Child & Parent Centre.
Books on Wheels
A free home delivery service for homebound readers. A selection of books curated to your reading preferences is delivered to your home once per fortnight. Deliveries can also be made for Valley View residents or library members who are temporarily homebound due to illness or injury. To learn more or sign up for the service, please call 9734 9042.
Silent Book Club
Last Thursday of the month, 6pm – 8pm.
Silent Book Club is the book club with no assigned reading. Just bring your own book (or e-book, or audiobook or graphic novel or magazine…) and settle down to enjoy in comfortable silence amongst your fellow readers. On arrival say hello to your new reading friends and (if you want to) share a little about what you’re currently reading. Then settle down for silent reading time, during which we will take a short optional break to snack and chat. On occasion we hold sessions at other venues! Board Game Club
Fridays 6.30pm – 9.30pm (4-weekly).
Join a group of board game enthusiasts for a casual and fun evening of games! Bring your own favourite game to play with the group, or try something new from our collection.
Open to anyone aged 15 or over with an interesting in tabletop gaming. BYO snacks and drinks. Located in the library’s meeting room.

Borrow Box is a fantastic resource providing access to a wide fiction and LOTE eBook, eAudiobook and eMagazine collection, which can be browsed and borrowed through the website or BorrowBox app. New titles are added frequently across all formats.

StoryBox Library
Explore hundreds of your FAVOURITE kids picture books read by Australia’s BEST storytellers. A place where the wonderful world of Australian Children’s Literature is on permanent exhibit Story Box Library in a beautiful online ‘reading room’. Story Box Library connects children with literature through the complementary medium of film, providing our audience with a vibrant, interactive experience via a diverse range of storytellers, each sharing past and present book titles.
