Dogs delivered to the pound or found wandering by the Ranger will be held for a minimum of 72 hours, after which time they will be provided to organisations that re-home dogs in accordance with best practice, or humanely destroyed. Dogs are not available for sale from the pound.
Should you believe your dog may have been impounded, you should contact the Ranger on 0408 931 274, between 8am – 4pm. Outside of these normal core working hours you can send an SMS or leave a message on this number. Alternatively send an email to ranger@collie.wa.gov.au
Prior to release of the dog all fees and registration must be paid.

Once fees are paid Community Rangers will bring your dog to the Shire Office for you to collect.
