Collie Art Gallery and Cultural Centre
The Shire of Collie has recognised the need to have a local art gallery and cultural centre, with the possibility of establishing such a centre identified in the Shire Strategic Plan [2010, 3.18].
The Shire commissioned Sustainable Development Facilitation [SDF] to prepare an “Art Gallery and Cultural Centre Feasibility Study”. At its meeting on 15 December 2010, the Council confirmed as a final report the draft feasibility study and is now seeking to engage an appropriately qualified art gallery/cultural centre designer to provide plans, specifications and costing for an Art Gallery/Cultural Centre for Council consideration.
